|Title||Statistical problems in functional data analysis|
|Presenter||Aurore Delaigle (The University of Melbourne)|
Functional data are data that are not in the form of variables or vectors, but rather in the form of curves. Examples of functional data are growth curves of children, spectra, speech curves, etc. In this talk I will give an introduction to functional data, and introduce techniques that can be applied to analyse such data. I will talk about some of my recent work in the area.
